Scale AI – 3D Printed Flowers

In collaboration with Lulu Événements, we developed a bespoke decor for ALL IN 2024, Canada's largest AI event organized by Scale AI. This installation celebrated the alliance between humans and artificial intelligence, serving as a centerpiece for the conference that brought together over 4,000 leaders, experts, and innovators from 40 countries. The project symbolized the collaborative spirit and transformative power of AI that ALL IN aimed to foster.

The Creative Process
Our teams leveraged Adobe Firefly, a cutting-edge AI image generation tool, to conceptualize and develop prototypes of 3D-printed flowers. This AI-assisted ideation phase enabled rapid exploration of diverse floral designs, each representing the multifaceted nature of AI technology. The team created visually compelling and dynamic presentations that showcased their innovative concepts, facilitating our partners' ability to envision the final product and streamline the art direction adjustment process.

From Digital to Physical
Once the final concept was approved, our graphic designers seamlessly transitioned to the engineering development and 3D modeling phase. The technical team meticulously refined the AI-generated digital prototypes, transforming them into precise 3D models. These models served as intricate blueprints for fabricating tangible, 3D-printed sculptures. This process exemplified the synergy between cutting-edge AI-inspired designs and advanced manufacturing techniques, demonstrating AI's practical applications in creative fields while underscoring the indispensable role of human expertise.

The Final Masterpiece
The final installation featured a hanging bouquet of colorful flowers, meticulously crafted with originality. The intertwined vegetation linking these various species represented the complex, interconnected nature of technologies in the AI ecosystem. This visually striking centerpiece for the ALL IN event served as a tangible representation of how AI can enhance and inspire human creativity without replacing it
