For the permanent exhibition "Come Aboard! Pirates or Privateers?", our workshop brought this completely 3D printed Kraken to life, mythical sea monster that now dominates the underground corridors of Pointe-à-Callière.
From concept to legend: Using innovative hybrid techniques (large-scale 3D printing, welding, sculpting, and artistic painting), we crafted imposing tentacles and a menacing body to capture the Kraken's mysterious essence.
